“The Quarterly Journal of Social Problems of Iran is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the identification, theoretical elucidation, and critical analysis of social issues in Iran from sociological and interdisciplinary perspectives. By publishing theoretical and empirical research across the disciplines of sociology, anthropology, demography, cultural studies, and communication studies, the journal seeks to rigorously investigate emerging social pathologies and structural transformations. Ultimately, it endeavors to foster a dynamic praxis between the production of specialized academic knowledge and effective, evidence-based policymaking in response to the multifaceted challenges confronting Iranian society.”
