This study with aim of investigating effect of communication difficulties among those who have committed crimes against persons, has studied 12-18-year-old convicts in rehabilitation center in Kerman. In the current study both survey (IIP-32 and TAS-20 questionnaires) and the experiment methods were conducted, the communication problems of 130 juvenile offenders at the center were investigated. Due to significant differences in average scores of communication problems among convicted crimes against persons compared to other groups, second phase of research began. Experimental group received interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) during 12 sessions and control group did not receive any intervention. The scores of TAS and IIP improved post-test, and in follow-up (3 months later) the improvement in all factors of IIP (except the openness factor) and all factors of TAS (except externally oriented thinking) remained intact. The findings suggested IPT (interpersonal psycho therapy) to rehabilitation centers.
