Current research studied factors influencing age of marriage in Tarom province. The average age of marriage among Tarom residents is more  than national average age of marriage.  This research is a survey study that compares married and single Youth between 25-39 years old in a selected sample of 374 people. According to results, among factors that can effect marriage age are: cultural factors(attitude to marriage and religiosity), Social factors (family expectations, rigidity of marriage norms and mate selection expansion) and economic factors (Employment status of men and marriage Costs) and only economic factors have an effect on increased marriage age which is probably because of Rural context of  Tarom,
Non-economic Factors do not have any impact on marriage age. In  the context of  many rural areas in Iran, because of traditional norms rigidity, non-economic Factors like attitude to marriage cannot play a role in  marriage age.
